Mr. Sylvester Adu of Ghana’s Narcotics
Control Board (NACOB) spent five weeks in the U.S. in early 2012 and visited several treatment
centers where he studied the potential long-term benefits of formal recovery
programs. He studied the Recovery Dynamics curriculum at the Kelly Foundation
in Little Rock, Arkansas, and met personalities at the Embassy of Ghana.
Hopeful Way is a nongovernmental organisation that was registered in September 2008. The organisation established a house which serves as a protective environment for recovering alcoholics and drug addicts. Hopeful Way also seeks to raise awareness of the dangers of alcohol and drug abuse. This blog serves as a forum where interested individuals can share information about alcohol and drug addiction.
